Self-Pay

We offer self-pay rates, which are due at the time of service for the following:

  • Individual Therapy 
  • Couples Therapy 
  • Family Therapy 

Insurance Information

 Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to better understand your benefits. Consider asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits? 
  • What is my deductible, and has it been met? 
  • How many therapy sessions are covered per year? 
  • What is my coverage amount or copay for each session? 
  • Do I need approval or a referral from my primary care physician?

Accepted Insurance Plans

Please see below for a list of insurance plans we accept. Our team will also assist you in verifying your benefits prior to your first visit to ensure you have a clear understanding of your coverage.


Commercial Plans:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (Blue Choice PPO Preferred, Blue Choice Options, Professional Blue Choice PPO, and PPO plans) 
  • Cigna 
  • United Healthcare 
  • Aetna 

Medicaid Plans:

  • Blue Cross Community Health Plan 
  • Aetna Better Health (including MMAI) 
  • Meridian (including YouthCare) 
  • CountyCare 
  • Molina (HealthChoice Illinois and MMAI)

Consultations

 If you are interested in speaking with a therapist prior to beginning services, we offer brief consultations. Consultations are 15 minutes in length and are available for a fee of $25. 

Payment Policy

Payment, including co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance, is due at the beginning of each session.

Accepted Forms of Payment

 We accept cash, check, Zelle, HSA/FSA cards, and all major credit cards. A $25 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Insurance Billing Policy

 As a courtesy, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier on your behalf. Please note that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company. While we make every effort to assist in expediting claim payments, our primary relationship is with you, not your insurance provider. You are ultimately responsible for understanding your coverage, including benefits, limitations, and requirements.


If your insurance company denies any portion of a claim or does not provide payment, you are responsible for the remaining balance. As the policyholder, you are encouraged to contact your insurance company directly with any questions or concerns regarding your coverage, benefits, or claim determinations.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your scheduled therapy appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.


Repeated missed appointments without notice (no call/no shows) may result in termination of services.
